Aug. 22, 2019: Florida Department of Revenue Wins Six 2019 TaxWatch Productivity Awards

The Florida Department of Revenue announced it won six 2019 TaxWatch Productivity Awards, including five team awards and one cash award. The awards recognized initiatives that produced internal efficiencies in data management and emergency response and improved customer service through enhanced educational outreach and expanded electronic filing options. Over the 30-year program, more than 16,000 nominations have been received and awards have been credited with saving or maximizing approximately $10 billion.
